PHGN Licensing and Ordination

PHGN Licensed or Ordained Ministers become a part of the PHGN family, networking with others of like faith and values.  We share a like passion to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ, expanding His kingdom work throughout the earth.  We understand that as recognized licensed or ordained ministers under the spiritual covering of Potter’s House Global Network, we represent one another and are therefore committed to living and working in integrity toward God, His Word, and others.  We seek to serve rather than be served.

Those wishing to receive a ministry license through PHGN are required to:

Complete Vessels of Honor School of Discipleship and Ministry OR to have completed all 18 courses of the PHGN Multi-Generational Discipleship Institute OR an equivalent. (*)

Provide a letter of recommendation from a PHGN Ministry Partner, PHGN Affiliate, or PHGN Licensed/Ordained Minister.  

Submit the completed PHGN Ministry License Application.

Be approved by the PHGN USA Executive Board.  

Make Payment of the $25.00 non-refundable PHGN Ministry Application Fee. (**)

(*) An equivalent would be considered proof of completion of a Bible School, Theological Seminary, or similar Bible training course.

Upon approval of the PHGN Ministry License, the applicant would be required to:

Attend at least 4 on-line PHGN Ministry Conversations each year.

Attend the PHGN on-line or in person Global Conference each year.

Submit an updated renewal form highlighting any changes in or plans for ministry in January of each year.  (For the purpose of accountability of relationship, prayer focus, and continued encouragement.)

Pay the annual fee of $175.00 for renewal of the PHGN Ministry License in January of each year.  (*)

The Benefits of Becoming a PHGN Licensed Minister are:

Monthly encouragement through the on-line PHGN Ministry Conversations with PHGN Founders.

PHGN on-line discipleship schools and courses at no cost (Free).

Free PHGN discipleship curriculum and materials.

Opportunity to partner with PHGN discipleship programs, such as Word Club, Sunday School Teacher Fellowships, or Redemption LIFE for adults or families.  

Opportunity to participate in PHGN humanitarian efforts in prayer, financial support, or short-term mission trips (*)

Opportunity to pursue PHGN Ministry Ordination after two years.   (See PHGN Ministry Ordination)

(*) PHGN facilitates short-term mission trips to work with selected Ministry Partners each year.  PHGN Affiliates can apply to go with the short-term mission teams to serve at their own expense.  This is an opportunity to serve the global church.  

PHGN Ministry Ordination:

Potter’s House Global Network will receive applications for Ministry Ordination from a PHGN Licensed Minister who has faithfully participated in the PHGN requirements and served in their area of ministry for two years and has a recognized 5-fold ministry calling.  Those wishing to receive PHGN Ministry Ordination are required to:

Be a Licensed Minister for a minimum of two years.

Have already served faithfully in their area of ministry for a minimum of two years.

Submit a completed PHGN Ministry Ordination application.

Be approved by the PHGN USA Executive Board.

Once the application has been approved, the PHGN Ordained Minister will be required to complete the PHGN Ministry Renewal Form in January of each year and pay the annual $175 renewal fee. (*)  In addition, he or she will be required to continue the requirements stated for PHGN Licensed Ministers.

PHGN Ministry Partners

PHGN Ministry Partners are missionaries or pastors who have been selected by the PHGN Executive Counsel to conduct PHGN humanitarian programs such as Child Sponsorship or the ChildFeed Program, special projects, and discipleship programs.   PHGN selects these Ministry Partners by the following criteria:

Long-term and Consistent Relationship.

Long-term Evidence of Integrity.

Successful Completion of a Two-Year Cooperation with PHGN in a Project or Program.

Faithfulness in Submission of Required Receipts, Paperwork, or Reports.

Faithful Partnership in a Discipleship Initiative, such as The Word Club, PHGN Sunday School Teacher Fellowship, Redemption LIFE Program, VOH or MGDI.  

Ministry Partners are automatically members of the PHGN National Leadership Team in their country of service.  They work with the National Director and National Administrative Assistant to coordinate reports, projects, and programs.  When USA Mission Teams come, they will assist the National Director with translators, hosting responsibilities, and care of the team.  

There is no application process to become a Ministry Partner.
