HCI Africa
In 2002, Pastor Carla visited Nigeria for the first time under the ministry of Pastors Wole and Azuka Gbogboade. Together we began Heart Cry International’s first discipleship school, HCI Children’s Ministry Institute, with 120 students. Since then, the ministry of HCI (Heart Cry International) has exploded in Nigeria! HCI Africa is a recognized non-profit organization in Nigeria and an extension of PHGN here, funded primarily through our donations. Pastor Samson Oyewumi serves as the HCI Africa Director and leads the HCI Africa Board in furthering our mission, model and message of discipleship in Nigeria and other African nations. The African Board conducts PHGN’s Training Seminars and/or the Institute, oversees a Children’s Ministry Teacher’s Fellowship and The Word Club, a discipleship program for children. HCI Africa hosts our new VOH School of Discipleship and Ministry, having graduated the first students in 2022. What an honor to labor alongside these mighty men and women of God!

Pastor Samson Olukayode Oyewumi is an Evangelist and Missionary to the villages. He is a Crusader and a graduate of the HCI Children's Ministry Training Institute and has been a member of the HCI Board since it's beginning. He is currently a student in PHGN's VOH School in Nigeria.
HCI Africa is a designated PHGN ChildFeed Program ministry partnership.

Pastor Kemi serves as pastor in Christ Family Evangelical Mission (church of the firstborn) Agbado, Ogun State, Nigeria. She is the Director of Training and Children's Teacher's Fellowship and Word Club Coordinator on the HCI Africa Board. She is a graduate of the HCI Children's Ministry Training Institute.

HCI East Africa
PHGN has enjoyed a long-term friendship and partnership with three vital ministries in Uganda – Hope Street Ministries, Word of Life Church & Missions and Grace Fellowship. We are excited to see a solid base of ministry forming in this nation, allowing us to launch both VOH School of Discipleship & Ministry and the new Multi-Generational Discipleship Institute there in 2023. These ministries host our Sponsorship Program, ChildFeed Fund and more! God is up to something good!
